On March 30, the Air District invites residents to a virtual meeting to learn about current air quality issues in the Bay View Hunters Point area, including enforcement and permitting updates at key facilities; to meet Air District enforcement staff working in that community; and to get air quality questions answered.
The Air District also wants your input and ideas on how you can help us best serve you (Community Engaged Enforcement).
The Air District is the regional agency responsible for protecting air quality in the Bay Area. Air District enforcement staff conduct compliance inspections of permitted facilities, respond to air quality complaints, and investigate air pollution issues in the Bayview Hunters Point community.
