Residents in affected areas should stay alert to news coverage and health warnings related to smoke. Check air quality at fire.airnow.gov and take steps to protect your health from smoke. Learn how at www.baaqmd.gov/wildfiresafety. Pollution levels are not expected to exceed the national 24-hour health standard. A Spare the Air Alert is not in effect.

Occasionally, a significant air pollution event occurs in the Bay Area. As soon as sufficient information is available, the Air District prepares an advisory or a preliminary incident report.
A preliminary incident report provides an early overview of the incident but is not a substitute for the in-depth investigation that follows. Incident reports in the table below are listed in chronological order.
