Odor Advisory
The Air District is aware of an odor in the Point Richmond and North Richmond areas. Air District inspectors are investigating and responding to complaints. Staff are in communication with Contra Costa Health to determine the cause and identify corrective actions. Follow instructions from local health officials.

Air District receives U.S. EPA grant for community air monitoring in East OaklandThe Air District has received a $298,114 grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to enhance air quality monitoring in the Bay Area. The Air District is partnering with Communities for a Better Environment to implement the project funded by this grant in East Oakland, a densely populated community faced with a high air pollution burden.
