Spare the Air Status

COP29 brings together the world’s leaders to accelerate the implementation of climate protection strategies. Participation in the climate conference will enable the Air District to learn about innovative technologies being deployed and policies being enacted around the world that can be replicated in the Bay Area. The Air District will also share agency knowledge, successes, and strategies that have helped mitigate climate change at the local level. COP29 will build on the outcomes of COP28, from the urgent need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to building resilience and adaptation to the climate impacts we are already facing.
