The Air District will host an in-person open house on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 1 – 3 PM. at the Air District’s San Francisco headquarters at 375 Beale Street. The open house will feature informal presentations and opportunities for discussion on the agency’s draft Strategic Plan, which outlines the Air District's roadmap for achieving its mission, setting priorities, and securing resources over the next five years.

The 2024-2029 draft Strategic Plan is centered on four primary goals: achieve impact, advance environmental justice, foster cohesion and inclusion, and maintain an effective, accountable, and customer-oriented organization. The plan's goals are designed to move the agency closer to its long-term mission, and near-term vision, of organizational transformation. These goals are grounded in the Air District's core values: environmental justice, equity, integrity, partnership, transparency and trust.
The Air District is accepting written public comment on the draft Strategic Plan through August 5. To submit public comment, please email strategicplan@baaqmd.gov.
