The Air District has opened the application period for year 19 of the Carl Moyer grant program, which reduces ozone-forming and toxic air emissions from older, heavy-polluting diesel engines.
Spare the Air Status
Eligible equipment includes medium and heavy-duty trucks and buses, mobile agricultural and construction equipment, marine vessels, locomotives and school buses. New program changes include funding for school buses, transit buses, electric and alternative-fueled equipment, charging and fueling infrastructure, and larger funding amounts.
