The Air District will host an in-person conversation with Air District Board Chair Davina Hurt on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 12 – 1 PM at the San Carlos Community Library Room. The conversation will focus on community questions and concerns regarding air quality issues and climate change.

WHERE: San Carlos Community Library Room, 610 Elm St., San Carlos

This event is the first in a series of Clean Air Talks that will be held throughout the Bay Area. This is an opportunity for the public to engage in an informal conversation with Air District Board Chair Davina Hurt, who is a long time San Mateo County resident, and to share thoughts, ideas, and concerns with others in the community.

In addition to serving as Air District Board Chair, Davina Hurt is also a Board member of the California Air Resources Board, Vice Chair of the Silicon Valley Clean Water Commission, and councilmember and former mayor of the City of Belmont. Comments made at the Clean Air Talks will be shared with the Air District’s 24-member Board of Directors at their monthly meetings.
