Regulation 3: Fees - 2024 Amendment (Effective 7/1/2024)
Learn about the Air District's development process for amendments to Regulation 3, which would increase fee revenue to help recover a greater share of the costs incurred by the Air District in implementing and enforcing regulatory programs.
Find out about the current status and anticipated timeline of the rule development process. Information on hearings, workshops, and other events is provided below, along with supporting documents and materials.
Amendments to Regulation 3: Fees include revisions to the Air District's fees & fee schedules and other regulatory language. The proposed amendments were presented and discussed at the Finance & Administration Committee meetings on March 20 and on April 17, 2024 and at two public hearings. The first public hearing was held on May 1, 2024 to receive testimony. Public comment on the proposed draft amendments and associated documents was accepted through May 17, 2024. Responses to comments were sent and are summarized in the Staff Report. At a second public hearing on June 5, 2024, the Board of Directors adopted the Regulation 3 amendments, which become effective July 1, 2024.
