View interactive maps designed to support California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) lead agencies and practitioners in the environmental review process. These maps can also be used by local governments and others in environmental planning, policy and analysis. The map series includes mobile source, stationary source, and project location screening tools. The Stationary Source Screening Map and Mobile Source Screening Map are available on this portal, in addition to being described below.

Mobile Source Screening Map
Beta version screening map that supports visualization of roadway, rail, and railyard screening level risks and hazards information for CEQA practitioners conducting a cumulative analysis. The information represents conservative health estimates reflective of 2022 for residents living near roadways (freeways and surface streets), 2024 for rail lines, and rail yards. Estimates screen-level cancer risks, chronic hazard indices, and PM2.5 concentrations using annual emissions data from the Air District's permitting database per Regulation 2, Rule 5 – New Source Review of Toxic Air Contaminants. This tool should only be used for permitted facilities where screening-level risks have not already been calculated by the Air District. This tool should not be used for permitted gas stations. For gas dispensing facilities, please use California Air Resources Board's Gas Station Risk Assessment Screening Tool, which is listed below.

AERMOD-Ready Meteorological Data
AERMOD-ready meteorological data sets for 35 sites in the Bay Area, up to nine years of data for the years 2009 through 2017. These files were processed with AERMET version 18081.
